Everything Bagel Seasoning

A photo of my cutting board with a bowl of all the ingredients.
I love everything bagels and the hits of garlic and salt. I have used this spice on roasted veggies but ran out. So here I made my own to refill the bottle. Photo by PattyCooks.

Ingredients

2T poppy seeds (94c, 4.16k, 3.18p, 1.8f)
1T white sesame seeds (52c, 2.11k, 1.6p, 1.1f)
1T dried minced garlic (28c, 6.11k, 1.41p, .8f)
1T dried minced onion (17C, 4.16K, .45P, .5F)
1T kosher salt (0c, 0k, 0p, 0f)

Nutrition

Seasoning total: 191c, 16.54k, 6.64p, 4.2f
7 Servings: 1T serving
Per serving: 27.28c, 2.36k, .95p, .6f

Directions

Gather everything before mixing. Make sure you have granulated garlic and onions, not garlic or onion powder. You want the crunch of those flavors. I did toast the sesame seeds, unlike the ingredient list. Then mixed it all together and was done. Be sure to place in a tightly sealed glass jar, once the toasted seeds are cool, so it lasts a good while.

Comments

Use this as a hit of spices and seasonings on roasted veggies, stir-fry dishes, and other veggie side dishes.

The source of this was the Trader Joes empty bottle. I looked at what was in the list of ingredients, checked out what was left in the bottle and figured it out. Not really that hard.
