Tex-Mex Spice

Ingredients

1/2 minced jalapeno (optional)
1t lemon pepper
1t Ancho chile powder
1t cumin powder
1t granulated onion
1t garlic powder
1t crushed cumin seeds
1T dried red chili flakes
1T crushed dried oregano
3T sweet Hungarian paprika
3T salt

Directions

Combine all well and store in air tight container.

Comment

I use this mixture for quick tex-mex taste and redish color. Good with tacos, burritos, and casseroles or soup.

There is heat which can be added to by including cayenne. I used fresh jalapeno, but kept it out to dry a bit so it would not spoil. Also I made sure it was mixed in with salt to help it dry out.
